6 Month National Level Coach and Founder

Amanda has more than 20 years’ coaching experience mostly in volleyball with some prior high school basketball coaching at several area middle schools, high schools, club teams and some colleges. She is passionate about supporting and developing athletes’ skills and confidence through structure, feedback and encouragement. Among her coaching career highlights, Amanda has helped teams successfully achieve several open division championships, many  runner-up and third place finishes in regional and national tournaments top divisions, as well as an undefeated seasons with her school teams. She received the Coaches and MVP Award from Forsyth Tech and the All Region Player Award from North Carolina Tarheel Conference. She has also been received the North Carolina Regional Volleyball Coaches Certification and Safesport certification, as well as extended membership in AAU, USAVB, JVA, and MJVBA, “Zima is excited to start Midwest Select and share her of the sport while developing local youth.
