NATIONAL TEAMS:

• 16U Black
• 18U Black Accelerated – this season will consist of 5 play dates with the season complete prior to spring break. This team is gear toward players continuing to the collegiate level. This season runs December to March

Details:

• Cost: $2,200
• Season Length: December-June
• 2 practices a week (1 ½ – 2 hours)
• Practice starts the week of December 8^th
• Teams compete in Premier divisions
• Participates in Mideast Power League (MEPL)
• Participates in 6 Tournaments (may travel up to 6+ hours away)
• 18 play dates
• Tournament locations and dates are tentative and could change due to the number of teams registered or even weather.
• MWS strives to balance team schedules, but some teams may have an extra or one less tournament depending on the criteria above and player availability.
• National Level teams will compete at one of the three national tournaments. Teams are responsible for fundraising to cover costs for nationals not included in player tuition. Committing to this team includes participating in fundraising activities for Nationals. The success of these efforts relies on the involvement of all team members, as fundraising helps reduce overall costs. Any level of contribution supports making the experience more affordable.

NATIONAL TEAMS:

• Middle School National Black Teams 14,13, 12

Details:

• Cost: $1,800
• Season Length December-June
• 2 practices a way 1.5-2hours
• Participates in the Grand Rapids Power League
• Participates in 4 2-Day Tournaments
• 12 Play Dates
• National Level teams will compete at one of the three national tournaments.
• Teams are responsible for fundraising to cover costs for national’s tournament, not included in player tuition

• Attend all play dates and practices. School related absences are exceptions. 
• Communicate with coach at least 2 weeks before anything missed unless unexpected
• Excessive absences will result in loss of playing time
• On time to all practices and play dates.

Training

• Team practice is two times a week with tiered training included

Competition Level

• Play in mainly  Open/Premier Division  
• 18 Play dates
• + Nationals (additional fee)
