17 & Under (17U): Born on or after July 1, 2008, with players who are 11th grade or below
16 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2009
15 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2010
14 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2011
13 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2012
12 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2013
11 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2014
10 & Under (16U): Born on or after July 1, 2015

Team Placement Process

I understand that an announcement will be made at the conclusion of tryouts regarding when team placements will be available. Athletes will have until the designated time to accept their team offers. To confirm your position, please click the "commit" or "decline" button on the MWS Team Announcement page (Volleyball > Tryout Information > Team Announcement). If a response is not provided by the deadline, the available spot will be given to the next athlete on the list. Please note that the first payment is required upon commitment. To determine whether your athlete has been selected for a team, each participant was assigned a number during tryouts. This number will be referenced in the team announcement posted on the MWS Facebook page. Additionally, we will send a team offer letter to the contact email provided at registration from midwestselectvolleyball@gmail.com. For further information regarding team fees and scheduling, please visit the volleyball homepage and consult our frequently asked questions section.

Medical Authorization

I hereby grant permission for my child to participate in the Midwest Select Volleyball Evaluations. I confirm that I am unaware of any medical conditions that could negatively impact or be exacerbated by my child's involvement. In the event of an emergency requiring medical attention, I authorize the staff to act on my behalf and to seek any necessary medical treatment they deem appropriate. Should treatment be required, I consent to my child receiving it. Furthermore, I agree to hold Midwest Select Volleyball Training & Academy, Battle Creek YMCA and its staff harmless from injuries or any liability arising from actions taken in good faith during my child's participation in the Midwest Select program, practices, events, and or travel.

Photo Authorization

We are pleased to welcome your child to our upcoming tryouts and events. To enhance our selection process and media content, we respectfully request your permission to photograph and/or record your child during these activities. By signing this authorization, you grant Midwest Select Volleyball and its representatives the right to capture, use, and publish photographs and video footage of your child in relation to the tryouts and events. These images and recordings may be utilized for informational, promotional, and media content purposes across various platforms, including our website, social media channels, and print materials. Please be assured that we are dedicated to preserving the privacy and security of all participants. We will handle all media responsibly and ensure that your child's identity is protected in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
